Prevent Unwanted Pets

Notts pet owners can help prevent unwanted kitten litters with a discounted treatment at a local charity and veterinary surgery.

Cats can be spayed at two locations for a discounted price of £20.

Gopet Veterinary Clinic, in Hucknall, established since 2004, along with Prevent Unwanted Pets (PUP), in Bestwood Village, are providing the low cost treatment.



It includes anaesthetic, operation, pain relief, antibiotics and any post operative checks.

PUP is a registered charity and strives to reduce numbers of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens each year.

Gopet Veterinary Clinic, is subsidised by local business people and provides low cost neutering to dogs and cats.

The unique aspect of the current offer is that it is open to everyone, but limited to the first 100 applicants.
